Parson Mac’s Muse: Jabberdonkey (Reprise)

A take on Obama that we guarantee you won’t find anywhere else …

T’was Obama and the slithery droves
Liars nimble, and leftist knaves
All flimsy were their verbalgroves
Their own lame gaffes outrave!

"Beware the Jabberdonkey girl!
The jaws that bray, the hooves that catch
Beware the Hubbub Herd* and shun
The frumious Mediasnatch."

She took her verbal sword in hand
As for the dweebish foe she reached
And valiant she at the RNC
Stood awhile and preached

And as in brilliant prose she stood,
The Jabberdonkey, eyes aflame
Came waffling through the convention wood,
Demagoging as he came!

One, two! And through and through!
Her verbal blade went snicker-snack!
She left it dead, and with its head
Went snowmobiling back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberdonkey?
Come to our arms oh dreamish girl!
O what a night! Woo-hoo… so right!"
We chortled, heads a’whirl.

T’was Obama and the slithery droves
Liars nimble, and leftist knaves
All flimsy were their verbalgroves
Their own lame gaffes outrave!

(apologies to Lewis Carroll)
