Forget Hillary: Paris Hilton, the First Woman President?

It won’t be the Simple Life …

Far from her homeland of dance clubs, high-end bars, and posh shopping scenes, socialite Paris Hilton chooses a new place to party: the White House.

The McCain campaign used Hilton’s image in a campaign ad last week mocking Barack Obama for his rock star celebrity status. Hilton fired back, making her own campaign video announcing her debut as the new 2008 presidential candidate.

Hilton’s running mate? None-other than the famous pop singer, Rihanna.

“I’m not from the olden days and I’m not promising change like that other guy… I’m just hot,” said Hilton in her ad, referring to McCain and Obama. Hilton sits with a magazine, lounging on a pool chair in a leopard-print bathing suit while she discusses her campaign platform.

Hilton’s campaign ad focuses on energy reform. A hybrid of the McCain and Obama plans, Hilton suggests an energy policy of off-shore drilling and new oil technology research and development.

She also wants to paint the White House pink.

The McCain team released a statement about Miss Hilton’s ad, stating: “It sounds like Paris Hilton supports John McCain’s ‘all of the above’ approach to America’s energy crisis — including both alternatives and drilling. In reality, Paris Hilton may have a more substantive energy policy than Barack Obama,” spokesman Tucker Bounds said.

Paris Hilton sure agrees with that assessment and assures the American public that she’s “like, totally ready to lead.”

There are no reports of a counter-ad from Obama claiming he’s more qualified than Paris.
