In an exclusive story posted today on popular Politico.com website, senior political writer, Ben Smith, reviews a brand-new book by respected National Review journalist David Freddoso. The Politico article points out that The Case Against Barack Obama, released today, is far from the shrill attack others are trying to use against Obama. “Freddoso opts largely for a fact-based critique, and writes that the viral overt smears have allowed Obama to evade substantive criticism,” writes Smith.
Smith continues quoting Freddoso, “Too many of those criticizing Obama have been content merely to slander him. False rumors about Obama’s religion and ancestry have produced an intellectual laziness among the very people who should be carefully scrutinizing Obama.”
We couldn’t agree more. It’s about time someone produced a legitimate, thorough look at Barack Obama’s record. Thanks to David Freddoso, a Columbia-trained, working journalist, The Case Against Barack Obama, sheds well-reasoned, factual, bright light on Barack Obama. In the words of Swift Boat veteran and author, John O’Neill, “This book reveals as much about Obama’s political career as our book did about John Kerry’s military career.”
