Rush Week Caption Contest Winner

With over 100 submissions, it was hard to nail the most fitting caption…

We kicked off the HUMAN EVENTS special “Rush Week” caption contest last week with your chance to win $50 for the wittiest phrase. With over 100 submissions, it was hard to nail the most fitting caption, but Richard Jaklitsch of Nanuet, NY stood out to each of our six judges.

Jaklitsch’s Caption: “This is not Pelosi’s house, it is the people’s house, and I’m giving it back to the owners.”

Jaklitsch and each weekly winner’s name will be printed in the HUMAN EVENTS print edition as well.

Look for the next caption contest this Monday and send your best captions to CaptionContest@eaglepub.com before noon on Thursday.

Here’s the cartoon that won Richard Jaklitsch $50 from HUMAN EVENTS:
