Nothing is Beyond Political Use to Pelosi

Listen to this opening prayer in the House today, read by the Supreme Patriarch of Armenia. Apparently, Pelosi arranged it as part of her campaign to condemn the Turks.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is pushing a House resolution calling the 1915-1917 massacre of Armenians by Turkish forces a genocide.  The Erdogan Turkish government is threatening to break ties with the United States if this passes.  Pelosi is still pushing despite opposition from every living former Secretary of State, the Bush administration and many of her own caucus.  But nothing — repeat nothing — is beyond political use to Pelosi.

Listen to this opening prayer in the House today, read by the Supreme Patriarch of Armenia.  Apparently, Pelosi arranged it as part of her campaign to condemn the Turks.  Pelosi would probably be in favor of school prayer if the prayers were for the election of a Democrat to the White House.
