Clinton, Obama Still on Same Page as MoveOn

On Monday, I wrote that Hillary and Obama were both marching in lockstep with, despite their despicable ad condemning Gen. David Petraeus.

This afternoon, the Senate passed Sen. John Cornyn’s (R-Tx) amendment to the Defense Authorization bill, which is a sense of the Senate resolution condemning the “Betray Us” ad. The vote was overwhelming in favor 72-25, with three not voting.

The Cornyn amendment expressed the sense of the Senate that,”…General David H. Petraeus, Commanding General, Multi-National Force-Iraq, deserves the full support of the Senate and strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of General Petraeus and all members of the United States Armed Forces.”

One of those not voting was Sen. Barack Obama (D-Il) who first voted for the Democratic substitute offered by Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Ca) which didn’t mention Petraeus by name.  After voting for the Boxer substitute, Obambi disappeared.

Couldn’t he even manage to make up his mind?  This man wants to be president and couldn’t even take a position on the Cornyn amendment.  Nevertheless, he is still on the same page as the MoveOners.

As is Hillary Clinton who was one of the 25 who voted against the Cornyn amendment. This is the roll call vote.
