Before joining HumanEvents.com in January 2006, Miss Sellers worked as a reporter and editor for the Daily Universe, Brigham Young University’s award-winning student newspaper. As a metro beat reporter, Miss Sellers covered everything from the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City to the death of Pope John Paul II. She also wrote about education, transportation and heath issues as well as state legislation, city council ordinances and community events.

Miss Sellers studied communications and print journalism at Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor’s degree. Between her third and final year at BYU, she spent 18 months volunteering as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Palmas, Spain.

Previous to her current employment, she contributed to Human Events as an intern through the National Journalism Center, covering political events and press conferences taking place in Washington, D.C.
