Suppose a foreign government wanted to undermine the United States—what would be the best way for them to do it?
Certainly not militarily, since there is no way any country could ever win an all-out war against us. So if these governments can’t beat us militarily, they really have only one other option at their disposal. That option is destroy us from within. That option is to use our own freedoms against us. That option is create, encourage and exploit every possible form of propaganda known to man to make the American people think and act in ways that are contrary to the best interests of this country. And there is no better way to spread this sort of anti-American propaganda than through the conduit of the American left. Simply drive the American left into a frenzy and let them do the rest.
After all, how could the U.S. possibly do anything about a North Korean nuclear program when liberals in the House, liberals in the Senate, liberals in the media and liberals screaming in the streets are actively undermining us every step of the way? Constantly attacking our soldiers, constantly attacking the war effort, constantly attacking and ridiculing the president, constantly proving beyond the shadow of a doubt that any action by the US to stop the development of nuclear weapons—or any other hostile action by our enemies—will be attacked by Democrats in the most vicious and politically exploitive way possible.
Every day, liberals make this country more and more impotent with their attacks and propaganda against those interested in defending it. Every day liberals empower our enemies by focusing their venom not on those that would do harm to our country, but in those who would have the courage to protect it. Every day liberals and the media create and expose more and more weaknesses and advertise them for all the world to see.
Then, when it’s finally too late to do anything about a situation, these same liberals circle back and attack the exact same people they have been actively undermining the entire time with statements like: “The Bush Administration has for several years been in a state of denial about the growing challenge of North Korea, and has too often tried to downplay the issue or change the subject,” as Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said, and “We had the opportunity to stop North Korea from increasing its nuclear power, but George Bush went to sleep at the switch while he pursued his narrow agenda in Iraq,” according to embattled Sen. Bob Menendez from New Jersey.
Yet who was it who attacked the development of anti-ballistic missile system that could protect us? Who was it who attacked the nomination of John Bolton because he refused to cater to our enemies? Who was it who calls any effort at protecting our borders, our security or our way of life xenophobia and warmongering? We know who it was—the same people who are undermining every element of our society: Liberals. Liberals. Liberals.
