The Bush lineup is changing faces again as CIA Director Porter Goss announced his resignation today.
According to one news report:
The announcement was made at a hastily arranged event in the Oval Office attended by Goss and John Negroponte, director of national intelligence.
"Porter's tenure at the CIA was one of transition. He's helped this agency become integrated into the intelligence community. That was a tough job. He's led ably," Bush said.
Goss has spent less than two years on the job, where the former congressman from Florida was brought in to rebuild the spy agency following the tragedies of 9-11. No reason was given for what appeared to be an abrupt resignation.
