Two House Republicans have been honored with 2006 Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants.
Yep, Reps. Jack Kingston (Ga.) and Mike Pence (Ind.) won the awards for "excellence in political communication" thanks to their websites (and staffers).
Now, I'm sure you're all wondering what the heck a "Pollie Award" is. Here's David All, Kingston's right-hand man, with an explanation:
"Essentially the folks who have made political communication and strategy their life get locked in a room until they emerge with the cream-of-the-crop in each particular category. And in the category of U.S. House websites, we were one of them."
