The New York Post finds that of all President Clinton's Lincoln Bedroom sleepover guests - which was over 1,100 people, less than 20% have given his wife's re-election campaign any cash.
By contrast, a 2000 review by the Center for Responsive Politics revealed that 40% of these White House sleepover guests gave money to Hillary while Bill was still in the Oval Office, over $620,000 to her initial Senate race. The discrepancy this time around may be explained by the fact that, as University of Virginia political scholar Larry Sabato put it, "FOBs are not necessarily FOHs. Think of the two of them - who's the one who collects friends? Bill."
