Chuck Todd at NationalJournal.com has a great quote today about the Democrats failure to capitalize on Republican mistakes:
"If this were a video game and the Democrats were this far behind the Republicans, despite playing at what should be an advantage, the user of the game would simply hit "reset" and start over. The problem, of course, is that hitting "reset" would mean having to start a new leftist party and there's no will for that... yet. If Democrats can't win in either '06 or '08, don't be surprised if more disgruntled Democrats start re-reading the history of the Whigs."
I can understand any analogy that has to do with video games…
