Al Gore hasn’t even started to speak about President Bush’s domestic eavesdropping program and the event is already turning out to be a flop.
Former Rep. Bob Barr’s (R.-Ga.) introduction of Gore won’t appear on the big screen via telecast. It took about three minutes before someone finally broke the uncomfortably long silence.
Finally, the Liberty Coalition’s Michael Ostrolenk appeared on stage to introduce Gore.
So much for the bipartisan spirit that was advertised.
