You had a great piece on Media Matters, and I look forward to seeing what you have to say about them on the Factor.
Though smearing conservatives is a Media Matters’ staple, I’ve always marveled at how they’ll go after their own for insufficient viciousness. Take a hypothetical article that begins, “Conservative, said by many to beat his wife, voted today against a woman’s right to choose.” Brock and company might still flag the hapless reporter as a card stacker because he failed to mention that the target also had a DUI conviction in the 80s and once owned 100 shares of Halliburton.
The only sure-fire way to keep Media Matters off your back is to always exhaustively recite the Brock-approved litany of a conservative’s scandals. Who says converts don’t make the best zealots?
