Momentum Way Up for YCOP

Those following the Young Conservative of Pennsylvania (YCOP) and their campaign to publicly embarrass their state legislature for voting themselves a 30% pay hike, will be pleased to know the group isn’t losing momentum. The flurry of local media coverage and controversy has helped the group raise over $10,000 in 10 days to fund their catchy billboards and radio ads.

“We are thrilled that so many generous people from all over the state have stepped forward to help sponsor InformedPA.com billboards and radio ads and make donations for ‘Remember The Pay Raise’ bumper stickers,” said State Chairman Chris Lilik. “Instead of simply ignoring the massive unconstitutional pay raise, the public continues to clamor for action. We will continue to side with the vast majority of Pennsylvanians and urge leaders of both parties to do the right thing and repeal the unconstitutional pay raise.”
