Is anyone really surprised the "GOP Senator" is, in fact, Chuck Hagel, likely 2008 GOP presidential contender? Any other Republican, and I might find it worthy to be the AP's top story on a slow, Sunday afternoon in August.
This now marks the second time in the last few days Hagel has made headlines. He also criticized President Bush for not meeting with Cindy Sheehan.
