In a news conference March 16, Mexican President Vicente Fox declared that walls built by the United States along stretches of the U.S.-Mexico border "must be demolished."
Fox said that the walls are "discriminatory"-which is certainly true: They discriminate between the sovereign territory of the United States and the sovereign territory of Mexico. He also said they are "against freedom"-an arrogant and ironic statement from a man who leads a government from which a constant flow of humanity flees.
