Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R.-Ariz.), a conservative stalwart, is cautioning President Bush not to move forward with his so-called guest worker plan.
“There are a lot of ambitious plans, a lot of necessary reforms that need to take place, but this rush toward amnesty-light should not be one of the priorities,” Hayworth told the Washington Times the day after the paper ran its interview with the President. “It would just be sad for the President to tie his shoelaces together right out of the starting block.”
