The CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll asked respondents whether they thought Bush or Kerry would do a better job handling a series of issues. Bush beat Kerry in every category. He defeated him 51% to 45% on handling the economy, 55% to 41% on handling Iraq, 61% to 34% on handling terrorism, 53% to 36% on handling the Israeli-Palestinian issue, and 52% to 44% on handling other countries.
