Proclaiming the certain Democratic presidential nominee "a great human being," former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark recently endorsed John Kerry for president and declared that President Bush should be impeached for U.S. conduct in Haiti.
At a Washington press conference in support of deposed Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide, Clark-famed for proclaiming U.S. prisoners of war in North Vietnam "could not be better" and defending the Ayatollah Khomeni while American hostages were seized in 1979-hailed Kerry for charging that the Bush Administration helped create the rebellion that forced Aristide to flee. Clark also said he has known Kerry since he was a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War in the 1970's.
