The Clear Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act (HR 2671), which creates incentives for local law enforcement agencies to arrest illegal aliens, now has 120 co-sponsors in the U.S. House. It may be the only immigration reform legislation that has a chance of enactment this year.
"It's absolutely reprehensible that this federal government has turned 80,000 criminal aliens loose to live in our nation's neighborhoods - and turned its back on local police and peaceful residents who are put in greater danger because of Congress' inaction on efforts to find and deport these 80,000 criminals," said Norwood.
