The New York Post recently reported on a new Quinnipac poll revealing that Americans still oppose gay marriage by a margin of 2-to-1.
According to the poll, 63 percent are against gay marriage while 31 percent are in favor. Also, those polled also opposed civil unions by a margin of 53 percent to 40 percent.
Though a vast majority of Americans don't think same-sex marriage should be allowed, 51 percent of those polled said they were against amending the Constitution, while 41 percent favored such a move.
