Four Democratic lawmakers were arrested and/or raided by the FBI this week. Even for Democrats, this is something. The best was Sen. Leland Yee, a notorious gun-control proponent. He had been allegedly running a gangster-style arms-trafficking ring on the side. No wonder he wanted control of all the guns.
Obama met Pope Francis for the first time Thursday. Their meeting comes a few days after the Holy Pontiff told mafia leaders sternly that if they don’t amend their evil ways, they will go to hell. I’d love to hear where the Pope told Obama he’d go.
Hobby Lobby’s case to opt-out of Obamacare’s mandate on contraceptive coverage has been gaining steam. The Administration recently announced the law’s 38th delay, so Hobby Lobby’s prayers may be coming true.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow announced she and her husband are “consciously uncoupling.” Also known as divorcing. I suspect it’s because she’s already divorced from reality.
